Privacy Policy
INFORMATION
This policy explains what Anceu Coliving does with the data you give us when you visit and use this website. It describes what the site actually does, and nothing it does not do.
Last updated 24 August 2026. If we change it, this date changes with it.
Who is responsible
Espacio Anceu SL, Lugar Ramis 8, Anceu, 36829 Ponte Caldelas, Pontevedra, Spain.
You can reach us at hello@anceu.com about anything on this page.
What we collect, and why
The enquiry form on our contact page collects your name, your email address and your message. We use them to answer you and nothing else.
The request to join form on the booking page collects your name, email address, phone number, number of guests, approximate dates, intended length and flexibility, room or accessibility needs, pets, allergies, how you heard about us, and your answers to a few questions about yourself. If two people are coming, it also collects the second guest’s first name, surnames and email address. We use these details to assess and answer the stay request and to plan the season.
Confirming a stay happens through a payment link we send by email once we accept your request. Stripe processes that payment directly; we never see or store your card details.
The newsletter collects your full name and email address.
Analytics, but only if you accept them. If you do, Google Analytics records which pages you read and roughly where in the world you are, with your IP address shortened before it is stored. If you decline, or ignore the banner, nothing is loaded and nothing is recorded.
We do not buy data about you, we do not build a profile of you, and we do not sell, rent or share your data with anyone outside the processors named below.
On what basis
For the two forms: because you asked us to take steps before we might enter into an agreement, and because you ticked the box saying so.
When you provide second guest data, you also confirm that you are authorised to share it with us. We send that person a receipt containing this privacy policy.
For the newsletter: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time using the unsubscribe link in any letter we send.
For analytics: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser.
Who else sees it
These companies process the data on our behalf, under contract, and may not use it for anything of their own:
- Cloudflare, which hosts the site, runs the code that receives a form and stores stay requests in Cloudflare D1.
- Resend, which delivers the request to us and a separate receipt to each guest.
- Kit, which holds the newsletter list.
- Stripe, which processes payment for a confirmed stay. We never see or store your card details.
- Google Analytics, only if you accepted analytics.
Kit and Google are both based in the United States, so subscribing to the newsletter or accepting analytics means data reaching a country outside the EU. For analytics that is the main reason the choice is yours to make; for the newsletter it is a reason to tell you plainly before you give us your address.
How long we keep it
Enquiries and applications stay in our email and Cloudflare D1 for as long as the conversation is useful, and are deleted within two years. Newsletter addresses stay until you unsubscribe. Analytics data is kept for 14 months.
What you can ask for
To see what we hold, to correct it, to have it deleted, to object to our using it, to restrict our using it, or to be sent a copy in a portable form.
Write to hello@anceu.com and we will answer. If we do not, you can complain to the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos.
Cookies
The site sets no cookies unless you accept analytics. If you do, Google Analytics sets its own to tell one visit from the next.
Your answer to the banner is remembered in your browser’s local storage rather than in a cookie, so declining costs you nothing.
Links to other websites
Some pages link out. Once you follow a link, you are on someone else’s site under someone else’s policy, and this one no longer applies.
Keeping your data safe
Everything the forms collect travels over an encrypted connection and is held by the processors named above. We keep access to it to the people who need it.
