Rural Coliving: Frequently Asked Questions and Answers
Welcome to Anceu’s Answers Hub — a simple, clear place to find everything you need to know about rural coliving, remote work in Spain, and life at Anceu Coliving in Galicia.
What is rural coliving?
Rural coliving is a lifestyle that combines remote work, shared living, and community impact in rural areas. Unlike urban coliving or isolated remote work, it connects digital professionals with revitalization efforts in depopulated regions—like Galicia, Spain—using high-speed internet (1 Gbps) and intentional design. At Anceu, it means living with 15–20 like-minded people who want to grow personally while giving back locally.
Where is Anceu Coliving located?
Anceu Coliving is located in the village of Anceu, in Ponte Caldelas, Galicia, northwest Spain. It’s a quiet, nature-rich area about 60 minutes from Santiago de Compostela and 45 minutes from Vigo, perfect for deep work and reconnection with rural life. To get there, here you have all the needed info.
Do you have fast internet for remote work?
Yes. Anceu has 1 Gbps (1000 Mbps) fiber optic internet — among the fastest available in rural Spain. It supports video calls, streaming, coding, and creative work without interruptions. You’ll never feel disconnected professionally.
